Bottlemart Express - Dalwallinu Hotel

This has to be the best pub food I can remember eating anywhere. I had the T-bone medium rare with mushroom sauce, chips and salad, it exceeded my expectations dramatically, I will definitely be stopping here again. Thank you so much for this amazing experience and rebuilding my faith in country pub food. ❤

First time visit. Looks popular with the locals. Rooms are a little dated.Repairs need doing in the accommodation areas.Plenty of sports channels on show.Good pub meals.Let down was the shower.The pressure was non existant and it took ages to get hot water.Wasting water in the country. Not good.I contacted the later to enquire. They said it was being attended to.Must have been an issue.

Best pub food in longer than I can remember. Exactly what it should be, and nothing it shouldn't. Don't expect a 3 star Michelin experience, but do expect well priced and tasty pub meals with fresh salad and perfectly cooked chips :-)

Good old pub, great atmosphere, cold beer, and nice steak dinner.

This is what every country pub should be like. Friendly, professional service with good quality food and bevvies. The pork chops with mash were excellent. The beer selection good and excellent wines. Recommended stop.

Great country pub with friendly staff, nice pool table, bottle shop and betting section. Bulmers cider and a good range of beer on tap. $10.80 for a pint of cider. We were in Dalwallinu a couple of years ago and it has changed a lot since then. There were no camping signs everywhere last time but they have all been removed now. I was chatting to Doug, the town planner for the Shire of Dalwallinu and also Steve, their President, while drinking in the pub. They explained that the shire was really expanding and growing. There is a lot of new business starting in the shire and accommodation is stretched there at the moment. The caravan park and all the hotel rooms are full and they are sending people 100Km up the road for accommodation. So they have relaxed their free camping rules as people don't have many options at the moment. So we happily parked our fully self contained motorhome across the road and enjoyed a great night in the pub.There is some great sporting mementos to look at and they have a beautiful dining area with a fire place.

Stopped in on a trip back to Perth and was pleasantly surprised at how good the steak sanga was. The staff were great too.

Excellent customer service. As a lone traveller for work, I really appreciated the effort by staff to have a conversation with me. The lamb roast was delicious. Quick service. Friendly atmosphere. Well worth the visit. Rooms are basic but clean and serviceable.

First time visit for dinner. Menu has a good selection. We went for the mixed grill and a chicken parmigiana. Both came with a good sized garden salad and great tasting fries. The main part of the meals were big and very nice. When I asked what consisted of the mixed grill when ordering, I was told it also had a lamb chop but none were on the plate when it arrived. Didn't really matter as the rest of the meal was more than sufficient in quantity and flavour. A great meal.
