Dongara Hotel Motel

Went here for lunch, Had encounters with 4 different people 3 of which were very rude, had a coffee that was burnt and didn’t end up drinking it, ordered a fire engine which tasted like creaming soda, when our food was brought out, I asked the waiter what our drinks were he said they were fire engines, I said to him it taste like creaming soda to which he replied “oh” and then just walked away, I orders the ocean and earth meal which consisted of chicken breast and prawns the chicken tasted like it had been microwaved and then thrown on the grill to sear, my prawns were slightly undercooked but were edible, we also ordered the steak sandwich which was soggy, we had just travelled from Perth so ate it anyway, would not recommend and highly doubt I would ever return for almost $80 for 2 meals and 3 drinks I would have expects better but unfortunately it was bad service along with bad food. Absolutely by far one of the best pub meals we’ve had. Flavours were outstanding. Portion sizes and price were amazing. Friendly staff willing to chat and a great, clean atmosphere to enjoy a great feed and a cold beer.Without a doubt, 10/10 and 5 stars.

It was all good till the morning. Rude cleaners keep being noisy from early morning even after I asked politely to move out of my door. Unfriendy creapy personal !

Stopped for a cup of tea. People outside drinking and eating. Told not open for another hour. I was going to leave. What do you want"? Unfriendly small Australian town. I even thought about staying but

Very busy hotel .Big meals .We all enjoyed ours .I had a warm beef salad and enjoyed it .Reasonable prices .

We just had breakfast here with 5 people. The prices were fair and the food came so quickly. We had a complicated order and everything was perfect. The food was delicious. My father is the definition of a manic baby boomer who complains about everything, and he said it was the best breakfast he has had in 20 years since leaving the UK. Not an easy feat to achieve. Will be back when in town

My wife and I recently stayed here on an overnight stay on our road trip from Perth. The hotel employees made you feel very welcomed. We enjoyed our dinner & breakfast sitting in the outdoor area while taking in the atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again

We stayed there for two nights on the way back from Carnarvon to have a break and look around the hotel was great ,meals were fantastic,service was fast and is the first time I could not eat all the food large plates all staff super friendly would always stay again.
